From its crystal-clear lakes and towering pines to the historic towns tucked along winding cottage roads, Muskoka offers the perfect blend of relaxation, adventure, and small-town charm. Whether you’re here to paddle a canoe, browse a lakeside boutique, sip local wine, or simply take in the autumn colours, we hope you fall for Muskoka just like we did.

All aboard for Muskoka magic. Step back in time on the historic RMS Segwun—North America’s oldest operating steamship—or relax on a modern cruiser with panoramic lake views. Departing from Gravenhurst (about 35 minutes from the resort) and Port Carling (just 15 minutes away), these scenic tours float past boathouses, forested islands, and classic Muskoka cottages. Arriving early? Book a sunset cruise for a romantic and relaxing start to the weekend.

HIKING TRAILS & NATURE PARKS

From leisurely loops to rewarding lookouts. Muskoka is full of scenic trails for every pace. For an easy walk, try the Hardy Lake Boardwalk Loop or Hanna Park Trail in Port Carling—perfect for a peaceful stroll among the trees. Want something with a bit more adventure? Huckleberry Rock Lookout rewards you with epic lake views, while Devil’s Gap Trail and the full Hardy Lake Loop offer a more vigorous trek through rocky terrain and quiet forest.

Lace up your hiking shoes, pack some water, and don’t forget your camera—Muskoka’s beauty is worth the climb.
